Graphic Poems Café, believes that by commercializing on events we can generate citizen reaction through an artistic voice. Graphic Poems Café, has established itself as a unique and effective enterprise that provides a socioeconomic consciousness. Through workshops, Group Mentoring Programs, etc. This places Graphic Poems Café, as the most artistic event planners in the world.
The following is a list of services we provide within (GPC):
- Event Planning,
- Group Mentoring Programs,
- Advocacy for the Homeless, &
- Prisoner Consignment Programs.
EVENT PLANNING
We have learnt over the years that we have a sense of what trends are catching the attention of the public. That is why by providing our event planning services to the General Public, & Corporations, we are able to show; that the managing members are able to create a business that arranges speakers on these topics:
- Racial Profiling,
- Police Brutality,
- Homelessness,
- Jobs, etc.
As an Organization we have organized appealing seminars and soirees through the performing arts. Where the audience can have a sense of give and take! With lively speakers and active participation from the audience.
Our other events such as but not limited to:
- Educational: (conferences, conventions, and graduations)
- Promotions: ( Product Launches, Political Rallies, Fashion shows, and conventions)
- Commemorations: (memorials, civic events, etc.)
We also do provide the person(s) with:
- Conduction of research,
- Creation of an event design,
- Find a site,
- Arrangement of food,
- Décor and entertainment,
- Plan for transportation,
- Send invitations,
- Arrange any necessary accommodations for attendees,
- Coordinate activities of events,
- Supervise the site,
- And Conduct evaluations of the event.
The Group mentoring program:
The group mentoring program is a sixteen week course, where participants learn through the performing arts, how to deal through their problem’s and deal through different stresses, all the while, learning how to:
- Read,
- Write,
- Produce,
- Direct,
- Market,
- And Implement events.
Upon graduating the course the person(s) will be given the chance to become a mentor to help others in the future.
THE ADVOCACY FOR THE HOMELESS:
The ADVOCACY FOR HOMELESS is part of Global Poetry Crew initiative to help men and women speak up for their right as individuals. This also allow us to work with the community to become a resource for clothing, food, etc.
